I am 22 years old (as of 2022), and this past Spring I graduated from The Catholic University of America (CUA) in Washington, DC with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies and Minors in both Philosophy and Anthropology. I am originally from Granger, IN – a suburb of South Bend (Go Irish!) and attended Saint Joseph High School in the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. My father runs a family business that makes patio furniture and Christmas tree stands, while my mother is a retired pharmaceutical lawyer. My only sibling, an older sister, works in environmental consulting in Indianapolis. My maternal grandfather was an Anglican priest – part of where I received my desire to serve the Church (I am of course Catholic.) I hope to serve this parish well and bring the light of Christ to the CMU community, especially as my youth allows me to (hopefully) understand and relate to the students here. My other passions include history, art, and literature. I must also conclude that having returned to the Midwest I will hopefully find enough people here to play a game of Euchre.
